Councilor Boyle was born in Ottawa and grew up in the North. He has lived in Iqaluit, Pangnirtung and Yellowknife although he has always considered Norman Wells his home, where he is raising 2 daughters along with his spouse Christine Landry. Jim has been a resident of the Wells for more than 30 years and has seen many changes in the town over that time.
Councilor Boyle is serving his first term on the Norman Wells' Town Council and is looking forward to being part of an open, honest and accountable council. He is hoping to develop positive long term as well as short term plans for the future of Norman Wells. He will work to move this community forward in an encouraging way with open communications to the residents and businesses, young and old, for a brilliant future ahead. He also aspires to develop strong relationships with local, Territorial and Federal Governments and make serious-minded knowledgeable decisions for the betterment of our community.
